I went to Photoshop World Expo in Orlando, FL and learned loads of tricks. This photo enhancement is one. I learned High Dynamic Range (HDR) and some cool plug-ins that you use with PS.

If you want to know more about HDR just do a search on DA and you can see it's magic. :D

I took this photograph in 2008 around Halloween season. The original photo was really dark so I adjusted it, A LOT. It's so much fun to do. Try it.

Ooooh, I am soooo jealous of you! :D I wanted to go to Photoshop World but didn't have the funds. Would have been fun to see you there.

Oh how I wish you could have come. I was by myself. There must be 100 seminars and you pick the one you want to attend since there are like 6-8 seminars going on simultaneously. It was grouped into Photogarphy A & B, Photoshop, Creative Suite and Lightroom, etc.

It was my first time and it was really fun. I learned a lot. Yes it was on the pricey side so I had to save for it. And it was worth it.

On the third day, they opened the Expo to the public, the area where different companies sell stuff. There's a few free seminars there too from kelbytraining.com and pitchpit press. I think you had to download a free badge from NAPP.com.

So I hope next year I could go again. Let's save enough money for that. If not we can just go to the free day at the Expo. That will still be worth it.

I'll let you know next time so we can hopefully meet. :D

I wish I could have joined you, too-- that would have been fun! But money was the thing and I just couldn't afford to spend that much this year. Next time they're in FL I'm definitely going to try to attend. :thumbsup:

I missed the one this year. It was pricey and I wasn't too interested anyway. And I have been busy with other stuff. I thin k next time they come to Orlando I'll just try the free to public expo area. I think they have it on a Saturday until 12PM. We should check their web site next time.

The public expo is a really good idea.....except that all their media is now being written for Adobe CS5 and I'm still using CS4 -- and probably will for at least another upgrade (or until Adobe stops supporting it). Because of that, it's almost pointless to by their dvds and books, sadly, they won't help much with the older versions. :(
